THE CUBS ARE THE 2016 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS AFTER 108 YEARS.

My friend Ashley and I headed out to Wrigleyville (yes, we were in that mob!) to watch the Cubs game, and I must say that although it was super crowded, it was lots of fun. There was TONS of people cheering on our Cubbies, and it was a really great time because we got to celebrate this historic win with fellow fans and Chicagoans. We all were literally part of history in the making.
I decided to forego wearing a Cubs shirt, so I wore my Cubs hat with that sparkly top from my Wonder Woman costume…I wanted to be festive, after all, and to have a little bit of pizzazz! I definitely have been getting a lot of use out of this one red sequined top…lol.
(Sorry, the pictures were taken way later that night on Ashley’s phone–mine completely died during the game! The screen just went black! I would have LOADS more pictures for this post if my phone didn’t go kaput….)
All in all, it was such a great night, and I’m so proud of my city and the team! It truly was a historic win, and it’s one of those memories that will be completely unforgettable for me. I was SO excited this morning when I woke up that I knew I had to rep the Cubs, so…
I pulled together my hair in a messy pony (and hid it under my Cubs hat!), and paired it with a cream cropped sweater, distressed skinny jeans, and boots.
