Chiming in Cold Weather With A Lime Peacoat

I told you guys about the bright green Blair Waldorf-esque//Mindy Lahiri wool peacoat I bought from Poshmark, right? (J. Crew. I bought a size small and it is HUGE on me. I’m definitely going to get an XS next time!)

I finally was able to start wearing it a last Friday, and I was so incredibly excited! It’s perfect for this breezy weather and it keeps me warm and comfortable. I absolutely love peacoats, especially brightly colored ones!

I’ve found that with brighter peacoats, pairing it with colorful scarves and accessories really works well with the coat. Neutral accessories kind of tone down the peacoat and can make it look a little bit average and not as unique. Plus colorful accessories will really pop against your bright peacoat! I’ve paired this bright pink scarf with my lime colored peacoat.

For the rest of my outfit, it’s pretty standard… skinny jeans, ankle booties, cardigan and top under my coat. I just wanted to share a post about the coat in action, and how I style it!

I will admit that one con is that people can spot you SUPER easily if you’re going about your business.

  1. Wow I would never think of wearing a bright coat cuz I don’t want to draw attention. But this lime green peacoat looks gorgeous on you!
