Thank You

Can you believe it’s been four months since I started this whole blogging adventure!? I was reading my very first post, which was written super nervously at two in the morning, and I’m smiling thinking about how much my life has changed since then and how blogging has changed my life significantly in that short amount of time!

(First thing being that my photo taking skills are much better than back when I first started! And now I have someone to take OUTFIT PICTURES!)

And I am so glad, and happy that I made a decision that day to start The Unabridged Sass. I remember the moment that this all became real was when I bought my very own domain, and registered The Unabridged Sass. The moment this all became even more real was when I started publishing posts on Twitter, and putting the link on my own social media…at first I was really scared of what people in my everyday life would say. Whether they would laugh at me, and question what I was actually doing. But I realized that I had nothing to be ashamed of, because I love what I do, and I believe in my content!

I remember when Lauren and I first became friends, and she told me that she perused my blog from my Instagram, I was in shock! I’ve been learning that more and more people go on The Unabridged Sass than I originally believed…

Jojo even reads my posts on the daily when she gets them in her email! (PSSST- if you want to get blog posts in your email, just enter it in the little sidebar and subscribe! You won’t miss a single post!)

And although I never really how to answer whenever people ask me what I blog about (I’ve learned that “pretty much whatever I want to blog about” does not make sense to non-bloggers…), I’m grateful that you all stop by to read my posts, and comment. I love it when y’all comment–I’m a social person so I love talking to and meeting new people. And I’m so grateful for all of the awesome bloggers I’ve met and connected with, and all of the wonderful readers. I’m grateful for all of this! For everyone!

I’m grateful that I have a way of sharing my loves and passions, and also a way that I can express myself whenever I want to share how I feel. This blog has truly changed my life, and so have all of you. And for this, I say thank you, because this would not be a reality if it was not for all of you.

Have a great weekend!

  1. I have actually only told like 3 people about my blog! It is so scary to tell people I know, so I get how you felt about being nervous – bc I’m there right now! I’m not sure when I will not be so private.. lol it’s always a nice surprise when your post pops up in my reader :))

    1. It’s really nerve wrecking in the beginning! I remember going on a date earlier this year and the guy saying “so I’ve been reading your blog from your twitter profile link” and I immediately FREAKED. I was like “whaaaaat!?” I’m glad you enjoy reading my posts! I’m so glad we’ve met!
