It is that time of year again…the holidays. Can you believe that Christmas is only eleven days away?! It’s literally at the end of next week!

With holidays, comes holiday parties…and of course holiday looks! Specially, holiday makeup looks! When I think of holiday beauty, I think of gold and copper, cranberry and burgundy. Using the Tarteist Pro palette, I managed to incorporate all of those elements to make this lovely holiday look. Whether paired with a nuder lip, or a cranberry lip, this makeup look is absolutely perfect for the upcoming holidays!

Here were the shades that I used (I thought it made the most sense to describe them before I explained where I placed each shade!):

Mod– this is a matte cranberry red shade

Drama– a dark burgundy red shade

Minx– a beautiful coppery shade

Glam– a gorgeous light golden shade

After priming my eyes with the NYX Proof It Eyeshadow Primer, I then used my usual eyeshadow brush to carve out my crease a tiny bit using the shade Mod. I then applied Minx all over the lid, and then blended some Drama into the crease. After doing that, I applied Mod to darken and accent the outer crease of my eye makeup, and then applied Glam to the inner half of my eyelid. The gradient of color is really gorgeous in this holiday look!

For lipstick, I opted for a darkish cranberry red lipstick. This is Cinnamon Spice (917B) by Wet N Wild. Although I have a lot of red lipsticks, I wanted to opt for a darker red for the holidays!

The Wet N Wild lipsticks are literally such a steal–for $2 you can get a really nice, pigmented lipstick!

All in all, I think that this is a super easy holiday look, and the golden-copper eye shadow pairs perfectly with the dark cranberry lip color! I’m definitely loving this new eye shadow palette, and experimenting with the different combinations and looks from the Tarte palette!

What’s your favorite holiday beauty look?
