Inspiration and Vision Boards

I was watching Happy Endings today, and the episode about Jane telling Penny to make a vision board was on. Essentially, what happens is Jane assumes the role of the universe in order to prove that her crazy idea worked (she used it to get Brad, apparently). She starts making things on Penny’s board come true, in order to prove a point. I already foresee some of my friends reading this, and saying, “Wow, Chrissey, you’re lowkey Jane as f.”

Anyways, I made my very own using Pinterest and google, accumulating various images, quotes, ideas… and arranged them all. I think it looks pretty darn good!

The cool thing about vision boards is that you don’t have really any rules. What I gathered was a bunch of quotes and images that signified dreams, hope, inspiration or things that I foresee (or wanted) in my future.

It’s my first time ever making one, and it definitely really made me think about my life and where I want to go, and where exactly I’m headed at this present moment. It made me appreciate the good things, and the blessings that I have in my life. But it also made me dream of what else I wanted (a career, a partner, etc). Overall, it was a wonderful activity.

Would you ever make a vision board? What would yours have on it?

    1. It’s definitely a really fun, but helpful process! Doing it using images from Pinterest or google really enables you to have endless resources and images. Good luck and be sure to tell me how it turns out!!
